Round 7 of the 2014 AUTOBACS SUPER GT will be held on 4 and 5 October 2014 at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, approximately 400km north-east of Thailand's capital of Bangkok. With increasingly popularity of SUPER GT and this race being the grand opening of Thailand's newest circuit, Round 7 will gain worldwide attention.

Representing Nissan in the GT 500 class will be 4 teams and 4 cars, namely:

- NISMO's #23 ‘MOTUL AUTECH GT-R’ (Driven by Tsugio Matsuda/Ronnie Quintarelli)
- IMPUL's #12 ‘CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R’ (Hironobu Yasuda/Joao Paulo De Oliveira)
- KONDO RACING's #24 ‘D'station ADVAN GT-R’ (Michael Krumm/Daiki Sasaki)
- MOLA's #46 ‘S Road MOLA GT-R’ (Satoshi Motoyama/Masataka Yanagida)

One lap of the Chang International Circuit is 4.554km and the layout has 4 long and short straights connected by 12 corners. This requires not only reliable top speed but also superior cornering, the ‘almighty performance’ of the vehicle will be essential and thus there is great promise for the majority NISSAN GT-R NISMO GT3s in the GT 300 class.

There is particular anticipation for the #3 B-MAX NDDP GT-R driven by Kazuki Hoshino and Lucas Ordonez, with their highly regarded team work, to take their first victory of the season.
