Haru's Journey 春との旅

Haru's Journey (春との旅), a Japanese film released in 2010, is about a retired fisherman taking his granddaughter, Haru, on a road trip to visit his various siblings in search of a new home. The movie had won the 65th Mainichi Film Award and the 20th Japan Movie Critic Award under the category of Best Japanese Film.


Directed by Masahiro Kobayashi and starred Tatsuya Nakadai, Eri Tokunaga and Hideji Otaki, the 134 minutes Haru's Journey, with English subtitles, will be screened at the 29th Japan Creative Centre (JCC) film screening on 25 October 2014.

Admission is free and do register early to avoid disappointment. To register, please email your full name, gender and mobile address to jcc@sn.mofa.go.jp with the subject ‘JCC Cinema 29’. Due to limited seating capacity, all registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of confirmation email from JCC.
