1.2km long Marunouchi Illuminations

Lies between Tokyo station and the Imperial Palace, there is one prestigious and largest office district in Japan called Marunouchi 丸の内. Led by Mitushishi Estate, Marunouchi undergone a major facelift and was reopened in October 2012. Now, the district is home to many Japan's major companies, banks and it is also Tokyo's financial district.

 

One highlight of the district during this period is the annual Marunouchi illuminations featuring more than one million gold twinkling stars along Marunouchi Naka-dori Avenue. The elegant 1.2 kilometers shopping and café street runs through the Marunouchi financial district with branded stores like Hermes, Armani Collezioni, Pal'las Palace, Paul Smith and many more.
