If you are planning a trip to Japan this winter, take the opportunity to discover Towadako (Lake Towada) Winter Story.

Located at the top of a 400-meter-high mountain on the border between Aomori 青森県 and Akita 秋田県 Prefectures, Lake Towada is the third deepest lake in Japan with a depth of 327 meters and is the largest Crater Lake in Honshu region, the main island of Japan.

In winter, Towadako Winter Story is the biggest event at Lake Towada and is held in February every year. At the winter lake, covered by snow and ice, one can experience winter fireworks displays, light and sound shows, and live performances. And this year, Towadako Winter Story 2015 will be held from 6 February to 1 March 2015.
