Kuromame 黒豆 Swiss Roll

Kuromame literally means black soybeans in Japanese, is often served as a symbol of health in Osechi Ryori お節料理 which is a special selection of Japanese cuisine traditionally served during the New Year's celebration.

 

Green Pumpkin Japanese Bakery kicks off a healthy start to the New Year with a selection of Kuromame creations. One can enjoy a slice of Kuromame Swiss Roll at $4.80 or 300g Kuromame Swiss Roll at $19.20. Other delicacies include Kuromame Matcha Cream Twist, Premium Kuromame Bun (both at $2.40 each), Hokkaido Pumpkin Custard Kuromame Ring ($2.20) and Matcha Dome ($1.80).
