For the first time in Singapore, a Japanese Test Kitchen concept is launched to introduce new Japanese brands and cuisine to local diners. Once every two weeks, new brand will setup at Test Kitchen with the purpose to promote Japanese food culture as well as to  test out local market.

Supported by the Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry (全国商工会連合会) and Nihon Assist Singapore (株式会社日本アシスト), new participating brands will be gathering feedbacks from the locals and to customize their offerings to Singapore market before opening their actual outlets.

The first participating brand, Tenkai Shokudo 天海食堂, was officially opened yesterday at China Square Food Centre.  Using fresh fish imported from Okinawa, the brand offers sushi bowls like Kaisen Don and Tenkai Don (Chicken & Tuna) at $9.80 each; and fried Sushi Maki (Salmon Avogado) at S$4.20 for 4 pieces and $8.00 for 8 pieces.

Test Kitchen @ Singapore is located at China Square Food Centre, 51 Telok Ayer Street, #01-17, from Monday to Friday, 11.00am to 7.30am. More information can be found at https://www.facebook.com/testkitchen.com.sg.
