Shangri-La Hotel welcomes Guest Farmer at Nadaman

Nadaman at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore welcomes certified vegetable sommelier, Ms. Fusae Enomoto, to enhance the current seasonal menu with organic produce air-flown from her own farm in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, from 13 to 19 April 2015. Ms. Enomoto who is a certified vegetable and fruit meister, cultivates more than 100 varieties of seasonal vegetables without utilising chemical fertilisers and pesticides.  


Ms. Enomoto will also conduct an exclusive two-hour cooking demonstration (English demo at 4.00pm) on 15 April 2015 and participants will have the opportunity to sample the seasonal dishes after the demonstration. The cooking demonstration is priced at S$100 nett per person.

Guests can sample Ms. Enomoto’s organic harvest in a la carte specials and set menus specially crafted by Head Chef Takaya Ishizuka with A-la-carte prices start at S$10.00 while set menus are priced at $88.00 for lunch and S$168.00 for dinner. Prices are subject to a 10 per cent service charge and prevailing government taxes, including GST unless otherwise stated.


The promotional signatures include Deep-Fried 'Ayame' Turnip with Mushroom Sauce as well as Tomato Salad comprising of five types of tomatoes.  Set lunch and dinner menus feature 'Katakurina' Vegetable Sushi with Japanese Mustard, Deep-Fried Lobster with Assorted Vegetable and Bonito Broth Sauce.  Lastly, set menus include Novel desserts, such as Simmered Tomato in Wine with Jelly and Tomato Mousse.
