Popular Japanese Yakiniku (barbeque) chain Gyu Kaku has launched a new menu offering Kuroge Wagyu beef 黒毛和牛 directly imported from Kagoshima 鹿児島, Japan. The Kuroge Wagyu is famed for its intense marbling from barn-raised cows in Kagoshima prefecture in Kyushu, Japan and is sweeter and tenderer than its field-bred Australian Wagyu counterpart.

In keeping with its motto of offering ‘good food at reasonable prices’, beef enthusiasts are now able to savour Prime Kagoshima Kuroge Wagyu at S$35.00 for 80 grams and $41.00 for 120 grams, in all six Gyu-Kaku outlets in Singapore.
