Masumi sake, founded by the Miyasaka Brewing Company in 1662, has a long and interesting story with over 350 years of history. Masumi had done well enough to gain the praise of several historical figures which include Otaka Gengo, one of Japan’s famous 47 ronin warriors.

One highlight of Masumi is the Sanka 山花 sake which also known as ‘mountain flower’ in English. This sake which is categorized under Junmai Daiginjo grade has a fresh fragrance, natural flavor and considerably an easy-going super premium daiginjo.

At the Masumi sake tasting and dining experience held last year, Sanka had attracted many females who found this sake sweet and crisp dry finishing which is the perfect invitation to the world of premium sake. Masumi Sanka is only available at certain Japanese restaurants and Meidi-Ya supermarket at Liang Court basement 1.

Masumi is distributed by Whistler Wine & Spirits Pte Ltd. Website: www.whistler.com.sg. Tel: +65 67487820.
