Besides the eight winning recipes that will be showcases at The Line as part of its Mother’s Day buffet spread, diners can also celebrates Mother’s Day on May 10 at the hotel’s restaurants and this includes famous Japanese restaurant, Nadaman.


Since 1830, the famous Nadaman group of restaurants has been treating discerning diners in Japan to fine traditional cuisine. Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore has appointed Takaya Ishizuka as head chef of Nadaman and he will be showcasing a special kaiseki 懐石料理 lunch menu packed with nature’s best ingredients this season. The elegant six-course kaiseki lunch features Japanese classics, such as Steamed Egg Custard with Minced Foie Gras, Deep-Fried Conger Eel and Eggplant with Radish Sauce and fresh Salmon Sashimi. Each set is priced at S$88 per person.

Alternative you can also experience Chef Ishizuka’s creations at Nadaman during lunch from noon to 2.30pm (daily) or dinner from 6.00pm to 10.30pm (daily). Prices are subject to a 10 per cent service charge and prevailing government taxes, including GST.
