Neon Pigeon @ 1 Keong Saik Road

At the corner of the Keong Saik Road, Chinatown, there is a modern Izayaka concept restaurant which may not be familiar to many. To be exact, this Japanese restaurant which opened early this year is usually packed with diners every evening, especially after office hour.

Food portion is considerably small and for 2 diners, it is recommended to go for 7 to 8 plates. Some highlight of Neon Pigeon include chicken Liver mousse (Cereal crust, yuzu kosho marmalade, toast), cold grilled squid salad (wasabi tempura seaweed, shiso ponzu), smoked baby back ribs (sake barbeque sauce), grilled duck breast (‘katsu curry’ pumpkin puree, Japanese red pickles) and more.

Our thoughts: Neon Pigeon is a good venue for friend gathering, meet-up and enjoy nice sake and beer with Japanese finger food.

Neon Pigeon is located at #01-03, 1 Keong Saik Road.
