In Japanese, Tokubetsu 特別 means “special” and let discover how Hakkaisan Tokubestu Junmai is special in many ways. Brewed in one of the premier and most famous sake brewing regions in all of Japan, Niigata Prefecture, the signature ingredient of this sake is the fine local water, coming from melting snow and filtered by Mount Hakkai 八海山.

The purity of this naturally soft water gives this sake a very special smooth taste and flavor. Make from Gohyakumangok rice, Tokubestu Junmai has 15.5% alcohol content and a sake meter value of +5.0
