Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI) is proud to present its annual special exhibition titled “As We Never Imagined: 50 Years of Art Making”, a broad showcase of over seventy works that demonstrate the development and potential of print and papermaking over the last five decades, taking reference from momentous collaborations of the 20th century. The exhibition will be held from June 13 to August 30, 2015.

In conjunction with the exhibition, STPI will be organizing a series of talks with industry specialists, starting off with master printmaker Eitaro Ogawa on Saturday 13th June at 2.30pm. The free-admission talk will serve to enlighten audiences on STPI’s print techniques, as well as the process of working with some of the best-known figures in the fine art industry.

Chief printer Eitaro Ogawa, an industry veteran, had broadened his lithography expertise under the training of Harumi Sonoyama, a master printer and printmaker himself. He joined STPI in 2002 after being personally handpicked and mentored by legendary Kenneth Tyler.

Other highlights include workshops like "Foiling Workshop", "Introduction to Lithography" and "Workshop 5: Aquatint Etching Workshop" will be conducted by Japanese instructors - Tamae Iwasaki and Eitaro Ogawa. More information can be found at http://stpi.com.sg/education_workshop.htm.
