If you weren’t specifically looking for IPPIN CAFE BAR, you could pass right by this unpretentious space along the swanky Mohamed Sultan Road. Located at 18 Mohamed Sultan Road, Ippin Cafe Bar, which opened in October 2014, is the sort of place for real Japanese food, a hidden hangout, a seat at the sake bar or a dress-down weekend date.

Three menu highlights include Grilled Oysters With Veggie Ponzu Sauce Set ($20) where oysters are imported from Hiroshima Prefecture, Ramen Noodle Set ($15) which is chewy and smooth and Cold Udon Noodle Set ($12) making from Kinuakari flour which gives a thinner and smoother texture.

If you are a sake lover, you may consider these 2 new editions - Yuzu and Ichigo from Maruishi Brewery. These sakes are made from the yuzu from Ehime prefecture and strawberries from the Aichi prefecture and they can be drank straight, on the rocks, or mixed with soda for a fun bubbly.

Premium Japanese snacks and drinks at affordable prices are exclusively only available at the outlet. So, make your way down to explore this café bar at Mohamed Sultan. More information can be found at www.facebook.com/ippincafebarms18.
