Furoshiki is a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth traditionally used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods. With more than 1,200 year-old history, the oldest wrapping cloth was used in the Nara Period and had been widely used until the end of the Edo Period.

The Bob Foundation’s pop-up store at kapok NDC will be conducting a Furoshiki Workshop on Saturday, 11 July, where participants get to make their own Furoshiki cloth with Bob Foundation’s specially designed stamps and learning the Japanese techniques in wrapping packages.

The workshop is complimentary with a minimum spend of $30 on any Bob Foundation products. As Workshop spaces are limited to 10 spots, kindly reserve your seat at info@sg.workingunit.com with your preferred session of 2.00pm – 3.30pm or 3.30pm – 5.00pm.

Daily Bob “Home Party” pop-up store takes place from 9 - 24 July at kapok at National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road, #01-05, Singapore 188969.
