Have you come across a jelly-like plum wine from Japan? Yes, here’s one such liqueur in Singapore which is the ゼリー梅酒 Ikegame Shuzo Jelly Umeshu. Since its launch in 2007, this jelly-like plum wine has gained much popularity.


Essentially, there is one unique thing about this Ikegame Shuzo Jelly Umeshu. As you shake the bottle before opening, the jelly within the bottle is broken, plum wine "mushy plump" comes out and the aroma is of ripe plum such as peach.



The 500ml plum wine with 8% alcohol content is from Fukuoka Prefecture and comprises of ingredient of full-scale rice shochu-ripe Daiume, sugar, polysaccharide thickener, acidulant (flavoring, coloring agents, preservatives, antioxidants no additives)
