Chef Yamashita’s Christmas cake

Christmas is around the corner and besides turkey and ham on the dining table; a Christmas cake would make its appearance compliment all your Christmas goodies. Japanese Chef Yamashita will be sharing his techniques and go through the entire process of baking the cake, making the whipped cream and decoration.


Chef Yamashita Masataka who was trained in Tsuji Culinary Institute, a well-known and respected culinary institute in Osaka, Japan, will be speaking in Japanese with an English Translator.


Class structure:

1. Demonstration of making sponge cake;
2. Hands-on of making sponge cake (4 pax per group);
3. Demonstration of making whip cream and decoration;
4. Hands-on whipped cream making;
5. Decoration of cake;


* Participants are able to bring back their own cakes, measured 15cm diameter.
