Choya Classic: 2015 Gold Medal Winner in San Francisco World Spirits Competition

 

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the largest, most influential international spirits competition in America, is judged by a prestigious panel of nationally recognized spirits experts which include noted journalists, distillers, beverage directors, mixologists, restaurateurs, Master Sommeliers, hoteliers, consultants, educators.

 

Judging is based on a blind, consensual procedure, ensuring competitive integrity as it remains the nation's most respected spirits competition. This year, CHOYA Umeshu, the traditional Japanese liqueur made from ume fruit, from Osaka Japan, walked away with 4 medals in the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition:

 

GOLD Medal: Choya Classic Ume Liqueur

SILVER Medal: Choya Extra Years Ume Liqueur

SILVER Medal: Choya Gold Edition Ume Liqueur

SILVER Medal: Choya Excellent Ume Liqueur

The 2016 Competition will be held in San Francisco from March.
