Hearty Italian fare with a Japanese twist

Caffé B launches a new Set Lunch menu for office executives who love a light, hearty and affordable meal at Marina Bay Sands. The Executive set lunch menu is available from 10 June, Monday to Sunday from 12 noon to 2.45pm.

 

Priced at $25 per person, the three-course meal starts with an appetiser, Sundried Tomato Salad with Ponzu Dressing, of refreshing sun-dried tomatoes and mesclun that drizzle with a homemade Japanese citrus-based sauce.

 

Four options to choose from for the main course:

 

Wagyu Beef Tataki

 

Wagyu Beef Tataki is marinated in sake and fresh Italian herbs for eight hours that brings out the flavor of the striploin beef. It comes with freshly mashed potatoes in a combination of Marinara sauce and Japanese Sesame sauce in meticulous portions, enhancing the authentic Italian flavor with a Japanese twist.

 

Grilled Sea Bass in Tomato and Naganegi Sauce

 

Fillet of sea bass lies elegantly along chargrilled vegetables topped with with crispy leek and tangy tomato sauce to awake your taste buds.

 

Lobster & Sakura Ebi Capellini

 

Capellini tossed in Lobster sauce & Sakura ebi, this dish is artfully presented with an assembly of lobster medallion with a sprinkle of Togarashi - Japanese chili powder.

 

Nashi Pear Risotto alla Frutta Tempura

 

Smooth, creamy risotto in Taleggio cheese, gives a pleasant melt-in-the-mouth buttery flavour, complemented by crispy seasonal fruits tempura.

 

Lastly, enjoy Chef Odin’s Lemon Meringue tart - filled with luscious, yet light lemon curd with a satiny texture that tantalises the taste buds and complements the crumbly gold brown crust.
