Gallery Rare Singapore

Japan’s pre-loved luxury goods company, Gallery Rare, has set up shop in Singapore with the aim of offering the largest collection of rare Hermes Birkin and Kelly bags in Southeast Asia. Gallery Rare Singapore Orchard which opened in mid-2015 is its first store outside Japan.

These iconic Hermes bags, named after English singer and actress Jane Birkin and American actress Grace Kelly respectively, are highly coveted collectibles and enjoy great demand in Asia. Gallery Rare is able to offer collectors pre-owned Birkin and Kelly bags at reasonable prices. Through its Hermes VIP network in Japan, its 9 boutiques as well as participation in auctions, the luxury chain is able to constantly source for “used-in-Japan” Hermes and other products which are new or as close to new as possible. New shipments arrive in Singapore once every two weeks.

As a pioneer in the pre-used luxury goods retail industry with a history of more than 36 years behind them, Gallery Rare’s professional appraisers ensure that all of its items are in pristine condition. Prices are affordable as Gallery Rare deals directly with sellers rather than going through any middlemen.

Helmed by experienced and friendly Managing Director, Mr Yoshihiro Sugiyama, who hails from Gallery Rare’s boutique in Ginza, customers can expect personalised service in their Mandarin Gallery store in Orchard Road. Besides Hermes bags, Gallery Rare’s Singapore store also retails a large collection of pre-owned watches from Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Rolex.
